After the conference I rented a Mercedes for $90 and drove down to Hintertux, Austria to go skiing. Steven's Pass is reporting 2 ft since yesterday, and Crystal Mt is reporting 6 in. The ski season is definately not over. He lasted about 30 minutes before he lost all control and had to run around. So we effectively paid $29 for 30 minutes worth of movie, but Isaac definatley enjoyed it. Whenever he saw something cool on the screen, he'd say "ooooooooohhhhhh!!" or "yaaaaaaaaay!!" really freaking loud and he managed to upset a 4 y/o girl. While I can't say that this was the best Woody Allen movie I've seen, I can say it was pretty entertaining and actually had me in suspense for a good while. This wasn't your typical Woody movie and at times I think he just wanted to film Scarlett Johanssen in her underwear (who wouldn't), but there were some excellent twists. At times it was cringe-fully shocking, but the plot twists were such that just when you thought you knew how it'd end, something changed. If you can bear the slow spots, its worth sitting through. The really awesome thing about the rain here is that 20 minutes away in the mountains, its snowing like crazy. Mt Baker has received a record breaking 112 inches of snow. So much snow in fact that they've been shut down entirely. They won't open again until Jan 18th. Mostly Cloudy BUT no Rain...
